ACCIDENT and emergency waiting time target performance has worsened at Inverclyde Royal according to latest figures.
The percentage of patients seen within four hours of arrival at the hospital between February 19 and February 25 was 62.5 per cent, below the Scottish average of 64.1 per cent.
The latest figures follow recently released data which showed that January was the worst month on record for people waiting to be seen in A&E.
The first month of the year saw Inverclyde Royal record two of its worst ever figures in terms of the percentage of patients seen within four hours of arrival at the hospital.
In week ending January 28, just 61 per cent of patients were seen within the target time of four hours, while in the week ending January 7 the rate was only 61.1 per cent.
These figures were respectively the hospital's fifth and sixth worst rates since records began.
