A LORRY driver was four times the cocaine limit while in charge of a heavy goods vehicle in Greenock, according to prosecutors.
Paul Milgrew is said to have driven the Renault truck on Sir Michael Street on September 3, 2022 while he was under the influence of the class A drug.
It is claimed that the 29-year-old had 211mcg of benzoylecgonine - the main metabolite of cocaine - per litre of blood in his system. The legal limit is 50mcg/litre.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for March 19 at Greenock Sheriff Court but the attendance of Milgrew, of Mauchline in East Ayrshire, has been excused.
