THE uncertain future of Greenock police station will be discussed at a public meeting in Greenock this week.
Members of Greenock West and Cardwell Bay Community Council will gather on Wednesday to speak about issues relating to the ongoing Police Scotland consultation.
The single issue meeting will be held at Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club from 7.30pm.
One of the main themes up for discussion will be the impact of the proposed closure on custody facilities in Greenock, and how that will affect policing across Inverclyde and beyond.
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.
