GREGGS have confirmed the date for the opening of their new Greenock drive-through cafe.
The bakery chain's new branch on the corner of Cartsburn Street and Rue End Street will open its doors for the first time this Friday (March 15).
Work to build the £1.5m hot food and drink outlet has been taking place at the site since last year.
Developers Dalglen Ltd, an investment vehicle owned by billionaire brothers Sandy and James Easdale, had plans for a drive-through coffee shop on the site approved back in October 2021.
The development area was purchased from Scottish Enterprise in 2018.
