The James Watt Wetherspoon pub in Greenock has been named the joint-cheapest in the UK to get a pint of Carling.
The research examined every Wetherspoon pub in the country (excluding those located in airports) to find the average price in each region.
The data revealed that it was bars located in Scottish regions like East Lothian and Clackmannanshire that had the cheapest average price.
The research, which was carried out by AltIndex, also revealed the most expensive places in the country for a pint.

A pint of Carling was found to cost £2.63 in The James Watt Wetherspoon pub (Greenock's only such location).
This ensured the region had the joint-cheapest average price for a pint of the popular beer brand with other places like East Lothian and South Lanarkshire seeing the same figure.
