Pic1: Port Glasgow Juniors are to benefit from the experience of Aberdeen FC legend and ex Morton assistant manager John McMaster, as the 'Gothenburg Greats' star has become their club ambassador. Board member Raymond Shaw joined John for this picture taken at the team's Parklea ground.
Pic2: It was heartening to meet so many young people as they embarked on a career with high street bakers Greggs in their new drive thru venture on Greenock's East Hamilton Street. Queues of drivers hungry for coffees, teas and baked goods are already surrounding the popular new food outlet.
Pic3: Tele reporter Susan Lochrie and I met up with a teenage soprano Maria McMaster, who featured in a video with rapper Post Malone that has been viewed a staggering 24 million times. And if that achievement was not enough, the rising star of St Columba's High School Gourock has won a place at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Pic4: We joined pupils of St Ninian's Primary School on a bitter but beautiful spring day as they learned about all things country from Greenock Cut Visitor Centre park rangers Mike Holcombe and John McLean.
The youngsters learned everything from outdoor survival fire building to baking their own bread.
