A LEADING Inverclyde property firm has announced an expansion of its business.
Bowman Rebecchi is moving into residential factoring, having secured new contracts for several properties in Greenock.
Having registered to the Scottish Property Factor Register in 2023, the Gourock-based firm has now announced the expansion of its existing commercial factoring to include the residential market.
The new contract wins will be managed alongside other commercial sites across Inverclyde, with Bowman Rebecchi targeting further growth in the residential factoring market following the recent sale of the long-standing local firm, Morison Walker to a national factor.
Marco Rebecchi, director at Bowman Rebecchi, added: “The expansion into residential factoring further diversifies our services and signals further growth for our extensive property portfolio, which stretches across the west of Scotland but focuses predominantly on Inverclyde.
“With a large commercial factoring portfolio already under our management, this is a natural expansion into the residential market, providing local tradespersons to maintain local properties with a quick, responsive, and highly effective service.
“The sale of Morison Walker leaves a gap locally for factoring services, and we have already picked up other residential properties from owners that preferred a local service to a national one, where they are often frustrated by the lack of response to issues.”
Fellow director Andrew Bowman added: “This is an important expansion into residential factoring for the business, ensuring that local property is managed and maintained by local people and qualified trades, ensuring an increased circular economy in Inverclyde.”
