A MAN charged with shouting racist abuse at police officers and refusing to leave his partner's flat is set to stand trial at Greenock Sheriff Court.
Thomas Brown is accused of acting aggressively at a property on Belville Street and at Greenock police office on February 10.
The 48-year-old is said to have shouted, swore and repeatedly kicked a bedroom door at the home while demanding it be opened.
The accused is alleged to have threatened two PCs at the address and at the Rue End Street station and uttered racist remarks, according to prosecutors.
Brown, of John Street, was absent from a calling of his case as proceedings were continued to a trial on April 15.
