A WOMAN charged with having an alleged bladed weapon while locked up at Greenock prison is set to face a trial before a jury.
Kelly Stevens is accused of being in possession of a sharp piece of plastic inside the jail without reasonable excuse or lawful authority on July 18, 2022.
The 35-year-old, who has a Glasgow address and is no longer an inmate, denies the alleged offence through solicitor Gerry Keenan.
A trial, expected to last up to four days, has been scheduled to start on May 20.
