TWO weather warnings have been issued for Inverclyde, with heavy rain and strong winds set to batter the area in the coming days.
A yellow alert for rain will come into force at 2am tomorrow.
This is due to remain in place until 9am, with the Met Office warning that heavy downpours may cause some travel disruption.
A second yellow warning for wind has been issued from 8am until 10pm on Saturday.
Forecasters say a deep area of low pressure will bring a spell of ‘very windy’ weather to western parts of the UK.
Road, rail, air and ferry services may be delayed or cancelled as a result of the conditions.
