THE Campaign to Save Inchgreen Dry Dock is urging people to sign its petition to nationalise Clydeport.
It has been registered with the Scottish Parliament's petitions committee and remains open online at https://petitions.parliament.scot/petitions/PP3909 and is closing in on 1,500 signatures.
The pressure group say they recently held a 'successful meeting' in Holyrood with Labour MSPs Katy Clark and Paul Sweeney, who are supporting the push.
The second hearing of the petition will take place in the next few months as the committee have a full programme.
A spokesperson for the campaign said: "It's not too late to add your name to the petition and we would urge all supporters to ask family and friends to sign."
