SCHOOLCHILDREN in Inverclyde are being invited to get creative to design a flag for Greenock’s James Watt Dock.
The marina runs an annual competition for pupils in P5 to P7.
The winning design will fly on a flag pole at the entrance to the marina throughout the next year.
Designs should be submitted on A4 paper and must be landscape.
They should also have some connection to Greenock or the sea.
Last year's winning flag, designed by Ardgowan Primary pupil Juwariyah Naeem, featured a pencil drawing of the dock's crane.
Entries for this year's contest must be submitted to info@jwdmarina.co.uk by May 3.
