A WEATHER warning for rain in Inverclyde has been extended by the Met Office.
Forecasters had issued a yellow warning for Wednesday, with heavy rain expected to cause disruption between 9am and 6pm.
This has now been extended to 10pm due to an increase in anticipated rainfall totals.
The Met Office says accumulations of 20mm to 30mm are expected, with some flooding possible.
Bus and train services may be affected by longer journey times. Drivers may also face difficulties caused by spray and flooding on roads.
