A TEENGE superstar who has raised thousands of pounds to save Christmas for children across Inverclyde has scooped a hat-trick of awards in a whirlwind year.
The 14-year-old was recently recognised at the Year of the Young People Legacy Awards, taking home the 'Making a Difference' accolade.
At the age of only six Skye launched her own annual festive charity appeal to buy Christmas presents for youngsters who would otherwise go without.
She teamed up with Tesco Greenock's Christmas Toy Appeal and has donated a total of more than £7,000 worth of toys.
In recognition of her incredible kindness, Skye already holds a Tele Community Champion award for outstanding achievement and an Inverclyde Inspiration Award Young Citizen of the Year title.
Modest Skye, who lives on Branchton Road with her mum Nicole and little brother Ross, said: "I was very pleased to get the award and it was a great night. It has been a great year. I am happy to get the awards.
"It just makes me happy to know that I am helping other children. I am hoping we can keep doing the fundraiser."
To top off an incredible year Skye also represented Scotland at the Cheerleading World Championships in Florida, finishing in fourth place for hip hop and ninth place for cheer.
The Inverclyde Academy pupil dances with local club DM Diamondz and qualified for the finals on the world stage.
In the run up to Christmas, Skye, along with her mum Nicole, makes up festive goodies including hot chocolate cones and reindeer food, selling them in shops in Greenock.
She then goes shopping with the cash to buy toys for a range of ages, handing them over to Tesco Greenock Community champ Lorella Sutherland.
The gifts are then distributed to charities like Barnardo's and Women's Aid.
Most recently Skye was shortlisted for Inverclyde Council's Year of the Young People Legacy Award and was joined by dozens of other deserving youngsters in Greenock Town Hall.
