GREENOCK Wanderers have selected a strong side to play Cartha Queen's Park in a charity match at Fort Matilda on Saturday.
The game, which is at 2pm, is in aid of local man Danny Tonner, who has Motor Neurone Disease.
In a strong pack of forwards Louie Hoodless, pictured, makes a return to the front row, partnering Andrew Graham with Struan Brown hooking.
The second row is the usual combination of Murray and Campbell, the back row has Hopkins and McDaid and they will hopefully be joined by former captain and ever present this year Robb.
There will be a new half back partnership of Adams and Boag with Tyley and Darroch in the centre.
Marturano has recovered from injury and on the other wing will be captain for the day Chris Vize, with McCarron at full back.
There are numerous players subbing who will get a game at some point.
Coach for the day is former Minis convenor at the club Kenny Lang, who has come out of retirement to play a cameo role assisted by David Strachan.
The referee Bryan Reddy who has fairly recently taken up the role.
A trophy has been donated and will be presented by Danny's best pal Andrew Deegan.
The opposition Cartha have had a very poor season, just avoiding relegation from National Division 3 having won only four of their 18 games, but nonetheless they will be stiff opposition.
Wanderers are excited about the day and match with friends and family all working together to put on a show and raise as much as possible for a very good cause. Cartha are also kindly helping out financially with a donation.
