A KNIFE carrying accused allegedly hid a blade in his sock during a search by police in Greenock.
David Park is charged with culpably and recklessly failing to disclose that he was in possession of the weapon at the Rue End Street station on April 5, 2021.
The 53-year-old had concealed the knife within his sock under his foot to the danger of a male PC who carried out the search, prosecutors claim.
Park, of Wellington Street, faces further allegations of carrying the blade in a public place without reasonable excuse on Sir Michael Street and being in possession of etizolam.
He denied the alleged offences through solicitor Mark Chambers and a further pre-trial hearing is due to take place at Greenock Sheriff Court on May 14.
