NOMINATIONS are being sought for the 2024 Pride of Inverclyde awards.
Run by Inverclyde Council, the awards aim to recognise public service employees and teams who go above and beyond to improve the lives of people in the area.
Residents and local authority employees can now nominate individuals or teams working across all council services in four categories: Team of the Year, Employee of the Year, Outstanding Achievement, and Excellence in Innovation in Service Delivery.
Special awards chosen by the Inverclyde Council’s chief executive Louise Long and Provost Drew McKenzie will also be given out at the ceremony, as well as long service awards.
Ms Long said: “All our staff – council and Health and Social Care Partnership – work hard to support residents and make a difference in our communities every day.
“The Pride of Inverclyde Awards is a chance for the council as an employer to celebrate the dedication and professionalism of our employees but also for the residents we serve to acknowledge an individual or team that has gone above and beyond.
“I would like to invite colleagues and members of the public to nominate any service or individual who they feel deserves some special recognition for the work they do.”
Nominations will be accepted at smartsurvey.co.uk until May 24.
