A MAN has been charged with having an illicit mobile phone while locked up in Greenock Prison.
Ruairidh Carey-Gardner, 30, was allegedly found with the prohibited personal communication device at the jail on December 14 last year.
The case against the Gardner, who is currently remanded in custody, has been continued without plea.
He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court to face the allegation on May 24.
