THE back road from Greenock to Kilmacolm is closed this week.
The council says the B788 Auchenfoil Road will be shut to traffic between Gateside Road and East Green Road, from today until Friday evening.
Circet frame and cover repairs are being carried out.
Vehicles will be diverted via the A761 in Port Glasgow.
