KIND residents at a sheltered housing complex in Greenock have donated 30kg of vital supplies to Inverclyde Foodbank.
Tenants at East Kirk Court collected items over a two-week period after being inspired by the Telegraph's recent Bags of Goodwill appeal for the vital charity.
Caring residents dropped off whatever they could manage in the lounge, and the impressive haul was collected by foodbank manager Adam Wines.
East Kirk Court resident Helen Guiller says everyone at the complex is proud of the amount of items collected.
She added: "It's always important for us to do our bit for people less fortunate and to help people out in their time of need.
"It was great to see the complex coming together and doing something for a good cause."
Foodbank manager Adam added: "Thank-you to all of the residents for their donation. We really appreciate it and it will make a real difference."
