A TALENTED Port Glasgow singer songwriter has released her first EP.

Shaeleidh McDonald, 19, has unveiled three-track collection Electrified.

The title track plus Dreams Don't Die and Fire were recorded live at Headhunter Studios in Glasgow with session musicians Mark Summers, Jack Beattie, and Robbie Cringles.

Shaeleidh is thrilled that the EP is now available to stream and download.

She says the songs have been heard by fans as far afield as London and New York.

Shaeleidh added: "I've had great feedback from people already.

"It's great to have my music out there for people to hear."

Shaeleidh started work on the songs in January and the idea for the melody of each one started with a guitar riff.

Greenock Telegraph:
The tracks were captured on a Tuesday and the EP was released on the Friday of the same week.

Shaeleidh is currently on the HNC Music at New College Lanarkshire and hopes to get onto the HND course.

She hopes the release of the EP is the first step on her journey towards carving out a career as a recording artist.

Shaeleidh added: "I loved recording the songs and can't wait to get back into the studio."
