A MUCH-loved Scottish television and radio personality says she feels 'honoured' to be hosting the Greenock Telegraph Community Champion Awards for another year.
Jennifer Reoch will be handing out the well-deserved prizes at the glittering event - sponsored by RCH Group, Arnold Clark, Clyde Eats, A & I Geotechnical, Platinum Paving and Vango - at Greenock Town Hall on Friday.
The Heart Scotland star was a smash hit at the glittering gala last year and the Tele is delighted to be welcoming her back.
Jennifer said: "I am absolutely delighted to be back hosting the Greenock Telegraph Community Champion Awards once again this year.
"It is an amazing celebration of just the best and most inspiring people from the local area and it's a real privilege to meet so many of them.
"I can't wait for the party!"
The evening includes a sparkling drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment from local talent and the awards presentation hosted by Jennifer.
She hailed the event as an opportunity for communities across Inverclyde to come even closer together.
Jennifer added: "There's such a supportive atmosphere and everyone is there to celebrate each other.
"People obviously love to win but everyone says well done to all the nominees."
Jennifer told how she feels very humbled when she hears all the amazing stories from nominees and winners.
She said: "It's very moving to be in a room with so many amazing people who do so much for their communities.
"I'm really looking forward to finding out how well everyone has done and what an impact they've made on their communities.
"The categories are all very impressive and everyone nominated is an inspiration.
"I'm all set for the awards and I can't wait to see everyone.
"There's such a brilliant community feeling in the room and a really good party atmosphere.
"I'm really excited to be there again.
"Actually being there in person makes such a difference."
