NURSERY children in Port Glasgow are digging deep to help grow fruit and veg in their garden.

As part of an exciting new project, Rainbow Family Centre has enjoyed support from Inverclyde Community Food Network to get their outdoor initiative off the ground.

They worked with super gardening duo  Julie Anson and Alice Paul who have been touring all local nurseries and primary schools to help them learn more about gardens.

The food network was set up to bring the community gardens across the region together and enourage local people to grow together.
