AN Inverclyde dance school will mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day as they begin a run of shows in Greenock this week.
Elite Academy of Dance holds its annual summer show at the Beacon from Thursday to Saturday.
The show marks the end of the school’s season, with students set to perform a range of pieces – including snippets from Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.
Dancers will also perform a special piece marking the anniversary of the Normandy landings.
