A MEMBER of Specsavers’ Greenock team hopes to help make a difference to the lives of his local community after finding a new career in the store’s dedicated audiology team.
Andrew Johns worked as a part-time optics assistant at the Oak Mall branch before recently beginning audiology training alongside director Christopher Lyall.
The Gourock resident has been learning more about the anatomy of the ear and key services provided by Specsavers to improve customer hearing.
Andrew said: “I’ve been really excited to branch out into the audiology team as I have some of my own family members who struggle with their hearing and use hearing aids themselves so I understand the difference they can make to someone’s life.
“I’ve many ambitions to continue progressing as far as I possibly can within the audiology business and want to continue to improve on each of the new skills, I’ve learnt so far.
“I’m very excited to take on all of these new challenges in this new role and continue to be an asset to the team in caring for the local community."
