A LIFELINE Inverclyde support service received the Outstanding Contribution to the Community award on the night.
The team from Your Voice were presented with the prestigious accolade by Jennifer Reoch at the Greenock Telegraph Community Champion Awards on Friday, June 7.
Your Voice chief executive officer Karen Haldane said a huge 'thank-you' to everyone for supporting the organisation.
She added: "We're totally shocked, very grateful, and very happy.
"It's amazing to be recognised for all the fantastic work that we do and we wouldn't be able to achieve everything we do without everyone's contribution.
"A lot of people who accessed our services at first have become volunteers, and without them, what we do just wouldn't be possible.
"The people who come through our doors sometimes lack confidence and self belief, and it's
amazing to see them grow and develop.
"People come through our doors as strangers and leave as friends.
"I've worked in the voluntary sector for over 30 years, and I'm constantly blown away by all the amazing things people do in Inverclyde.
"Inverclyde is such a caring community.
"It's been nice to see so many people recognised and given the opportunity to shine tonight."
Shona Quigley CEFO of category sponsors Vango, said: "Vango has been an employer in the community for many years.
"It's nice to give something back through the sponsorship.
"Your Voice is a very worthy winner."
