A SQUAD of young Inverclyde footballers recently celebrated their achievements from the 2023/24 season with the help of a Morton star.

Morton In The Community’s 2010s side held their trophy night on Saturday.

First team goalkeeper Ryan Mullen attended the event to present trophies to the players.

Goal of the Season went to Ed Docherty, with Joe Gibsey taking home the Players’ Player prize.

Harry Bjonness won the Coaches’ Player award, as well as being crown top goalscorer.

In a social media post, Morton said: “It was great to see Ryan Mullen in attendance at the 2010's award night on Saturday!

“We hope everyone had a great night and congratulations to all the award winners.”
