THE organisers of this year's Gourock Garden Party are revving up for the event's 50th anniversary and are planning an extra special day for all the family.
The garden party has been a highlight of the summer for generations, and here we take a look back at some moments caught by the Tele cameras.
Pic1: This was the busy scene at Gourock's walled garden as stalls did a roaring trade on a warm June day in 2014.
Pic2: These two budding guardians of the law were joined by the real thing, making a fun shot for our picture spread on the well-attended event held in 2013.
Pic3: The 27th Greenock Guides have been big supporters of the garden party in years gone by. Their stall was a big draw during the event in 2009, helping them bring in funds.
Pic4: These young duck hunters had a fun-filled day at the Gourock Garden Party of 2012. The hook-a-duck game is a well-known feature of the show and helped raise funds for the local Guide troop.
Pic5: Ardgowan Hospice volunteers brought serious flower power to the Gourock Garden Party back in 2011.
The Swinging Sixties themed day of fun was a great success and large crowds kept stallholders busy throughout the show.
