TIME is running out for children in Port Glasgow to submit their entry for the chance to be the Gala King or Queen at next week’s Comet Festival.
Youngsters are being invited to design badge for Port Glasgow 2025 - a local project which hopes to mark the town’s 250th anniversary next year.
The gala day will be held on June 22 from 11:30am until 5pm.
Children can enter by collecting an application form from their school and handing it into the Port Glasgow 2025 office on John Wood Street by 12pm tomorrow.
