ONE of Inverclyde's fastest growing firms has made a top new signing.

Security company Safer Group which has a new headquarters in Port Glagow and has a turnover of £12m has appointed a chief revenue officer.

Former HSS hire sale director Mark Walsh will now assist founder Ryan Clark as he looks to expand into new markets.

Safer Group’s CEO Ryan Clark said: “Mark’s impressive track record in building strong teams that maximise revenue makes his appointment a huge boost for Safer Group as we continue our expansion plans.

"It’s testament to our growing reputation within the security industry that we’ve attracted someone of Mark’s calibre to join us.”

Founded in 2016 by Greenock entrepreneur Ryan Clark, the Port Glasgow-based company specialises in protecting construction sites and offers high-tech intruder detection system, known as Safer PODs in Europe.
