FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze within a derelict building in Port Glasgow this morning.
Emergency services attended Wallace Street within the Clune Park estate after a report of a fire within one of the tenements.
Three appliances were dispatched to the scene just after 9am.
Reports suggest that the fire was the third blaze within the Clune Park estate in just three days.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 9.06am on Wednesday, June 19, to reports of a fire within a derelict building on Wallace Street, Port Glasgow.
"Operations control mobilised two appliances and a height appliance to the scene where crews extinguished the fire affecting the first floor of a four-storey tenement.
"There were no reported casualties.
"Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe."
