FAMILIES flocked to Finlaystone Country Estate recently for a successful farm open day.
The event, held on Saturday June 15, was hosted by The Ark on the Clyde CIC and welcomed visitors young and old to learn more about the different animals that call the Langbank site home.
Attendees were able to hold and care for rabbits, hens, guinea pigs, new kittens and even meet the resident ponies.
More than 50 families attended on the day making the most of the event and the grounds, which host a variety of play areas, a tea room with new opening hours and a beautiful 10-acre garden.
Visitors can take advantage of annual membership which offers a range of benefits including a free hot drink in the tea room every month along with admission to the estate. The tea room is now open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm.
Finlaystone is located in Langbank, just off the A8, near Port Glasgow. For more information, visit finlaystone.co.uk.
