KIDS are being urged to get booked in to a fun-filled holiday programme at Inverclyde Libraries this summer.

There is something to keep youngsters of all ages amused from crafts to Lego and Duplo to Bookbug sessions.

All events are drop-ins and there is no need to book.

Children can also sign up to this year's Summer Reading Challenge, Marvellous Makers.

The summer reading challenge, which aims to encourage children to read during the holidays, runs until August 24.

The timetable will start on Monday July 1.

There are also some bookable events which can be booked through the libraries Eventbrite page.

The sessions will run across all libraries including Kilmacolm, Port Glasgow, Greenock central Library, South West Library and Inverkip and Wemyss Bay.

Children aged under eight must be accompanied by an adult.

All libraries are closed on July 29.
