A Greenock cemetery has been closed to remove dangerous trees from the site.
The Inverkip Street (John Galt) Cemetery has been shut by Inverclyde Council to remove trees which have been affected by Ash Dieback.
The cemetery grounds will remain closed for the duration of the work, which is expected to last between seven and ten days.
Ash Dieback is a chronic fungal disease of ash trees in Europe characterised by leaf loss and crown dieback in infected trees.
