A FREE water safety event is to be held in Gourock this month, with members of the emergency services sharing advice.
Members of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Police Scotland’s Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Preventions and Interventions Team will host the event at the town’s outdoor pool on July 18 from 12pm-1:30pm.
The teams will also be joined by members of Paisley Sea Cadets.
The session will focus on teaching valuable skills which can help people stay safe around water while still having fun – and what to do if something goes wrong.
