CLOWNS, comics, jugglers, acrobats and many more talented performers from around the world will stop off in Inverclyde later this month.

Circus promoter Tony Hopkins is celebrating 40 years of promoting his shows by bringing Circus Montini back to the area.

Since 1983, Tony has promoted and toured family favourites such as Chipperfields Circus, Gerry Cottle’s Circus, the Netherlands National Circus, Billy Smart’s Circus and Circus Fiesta.

Circus Montini is scheduled to roll into Kilmacolm's Birkmyre Park between July 22 and 24 as part of a Scottish summer tour also featuring calls at Invergordon, Nairn, Broadford, Aviemore, Pitlochry, Crieff, Cardross and Carluke.

The opening show will take place on the Monday evening at 7pm, with two shows following on the Tuesday and a final performance on the Wednesday at 3pm.
