EMERGENCY services have rushed to a busy road near Inverkip after a car came off the carriageway earlier this afternoon.
Police were on hand to direct traffic around a stricken white Skoda, which was left sitting across the A78 with its front right side visibly damaged following the incident.
Ambulance staff were also spotted on the scene at around 1:45pm.
