RESIDENTS and staff at a Greenock care home had an unforgettable experience as a pair of therapy ponies visited for the day.
The Belleaire nursing facility on Newark Street welcomed the 'gentle and beautiful' animals recently and described the encounter as a 'relaxing and heart-warming experience'.
A social media post shared by the home's parent company Meallmore Ltd read: "Seeing the happy faces of our residents as they interacted with the ponies was truly priceless.
"The joy and comfort these lovely animals brought to everyone made the day unforgettable.
"Thank you to the therapy ponies and their handlers for bringing so much happiness to our home."
