CHARITIES in Inverclyde can now apply for a new awards programme designed to celebrate and support organisations working tirelessly for positive change.
Benefact Group is launching the Charity Heroes Awards, which will be open to charities based in the UK and Ireland.
Entries can be submitted across several six categories, including Volunteer of the Year, Climate Action Project, Local Community Initiative and Charity Leader of the Year.
Winners will be announced at an event in London on November 28, with each successful charity receiving £5,000. The runners-up will also be given a £1,000 donation.
Mark Hews, Group Chief Executive of Benefact Group, says: “We are delighted to announce the launch of Benefact Group’s Charity Heroes Awards 2024.
“Benefact Group is a family of award-winning specialist financial services companies and the third largest corporate donor to charity in the UK.
“Owned by a charity ourselves, charitable giving is at the heart of what we do.
“All of our available profits go to good causes and the more the Group grows, the more the Group can give.”
Applications can be submitted at benefactgroup.com until July 26.
