GREENOCK super star Martin Compston popped into a local pub and signed a Sweet Sixteen poster on the wall.
The Line of Duty actor delighted staff and customers at the Tail O'the Bank during a recent visit in to the Greenock pub restaurant.
In tribute to the local star the poster celebrating his debut film Sweet Sixteen had been hanging up in the pub for ten years.
In a social media post the Tail O' the Bank said: "Couldn't resist asking him to sign the Sweet Sixteen poster we've had on the wall for almost 10 years! Thanks Martin, it was a pleasure having you all in the pub."
Martin made his debut in the coming of age Ken Loach film Sweet Sixteen film back in 2002.
Since then he has rose to fame, starring as detective Steve Arnott in Line of Duty.
