FAMILIES in Inverclyde came together to take part in a first ever festival celebrating science, technology, engineering and mathamatics.

The event was organised by both Morton in the Community and Inveclyde Council's eduation authority to launch the special day in the Watt Institution.

They were joined on the day by the Glasow Science Centre team who presented science shows and hands on STEM activities.
