A NEW running group is going the distance as it continues to put people on the road to better mental health.
Top fitness duo Conor McGregor and friend Craig Docherty came together to form Mind Over Miles.
It has been an overwhelming success so far as they build friendships as well as resilience when they meet every Saturday in Gourock.

On the Saturday run clubs they are encouraging participants to run a 5 or 10k.
Previously Conor, 28, said: "We set up the group so that people felt they could just come along no matter their fitness.
"Some people want to run but not on their own and they don't necessarily want to join an official running club. There is a real gap that needs to be filled.
"Mind Over Miles is open to everyone, we want people to come along and feel part of it."
He has formed a firm friendshp with Craig Docherty, who was involved in setting up Man On Inverclyde.
Both Conor and Craig take their recruits on the run from the Cove Road fountain along the waterfront.
The Saturday Run Club meets every Saturday at 10am at the Cove Road fountain and it is open to all.
