A PLAY which tackles issues including knife crime and gang culture is set to return to the Beacon Arts Centre next year.
When We Were Young, by Geez A Break Productions, visited Greenock on its tour in October last year.
The play tells the story of a 'young team' who roam the streets of Glasgow in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Writer and director Liam Lambie said the inspiration for the story came partly from his own experience of youth and a willingness to highlight issues surrounding knife crime.
The show is ‘back by popular demand', with tickets now on sale for a performance on April 23 next year.
Due to strong language and adult humour, When We Were Young is recommended for audiences aged 16 and over. To book, go to beaconartscentre.co.uk.
