REGULARS queued up to celebrate the re-opening of a village pub.
The Eglinton Bar in Skelmorlie opened its doors last Thursday night.
It had been closed for five months before new owners Nicola and Frank O'Neill bought it over.
Nicola said: "We opened at 6pm and we had people queuing up ten minutes before, I think that shows how much the pub has been missed in the village.
"It was a brilliant night and we've been very busty since then.
"I'd like to thank all our customers."
The pub holds music nights on Thursdays when local musicians perform.
Locals had spoken of how the pub was at the heart of the community and were delighted that it was re-opening.
