A QUIRKY Kilmacolm business is the running for a prestigious industry honour.
Kilmacolm Farm Tours has been shortlisted in the regional final of the Scottish Thistle Awards.
The business, run by James and Wendy MacDougall, is in line to win the 'best outdoor or adventure experience' category.
Wendy and James, who are third generation farmers, started running trailer tours and lambing experiences from Muirhouse Farm in Kilmacolm back in April 2022.
The couple will find out if they're winners at the Scottish Thistle Awards regional final at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow on September 19.
If they win, they will go forward to the national final in November.
VisitScotland regional director Lynne Cooper said: “It is fantastic to see Kilmacolm Farm Tours flying the flag for Inverclyde.
"Agritourism is a hugely popular activity for visitors and this local business is a great example of how people can experience the best of rural Scotland."
