A PLANNING application has been submitted for the creation of a shipping container storage site in Port Glasgow.
Balmore Group has submitted proposals for a facility with 48 containers at Kelburn Business Park.
The plans also contain a garage workshop and a two-metre high perimeter fence.
Balmore Group, which specialises in building inspection and repair, is based elsewhere in the business park.
It purchased the site of the proposed facility through Bowman Rebecchi last month.
The plans are currently pending consideration by Inverclyde Council.
