PEOPLE who are working and/or volunteering across Inverclyde can sign up for free trauma informed practice training.
The level one sessions are available at locations including Barnardo's, the CVS base at West College Scotland, and Moving On Inverclyde.
CVS Inverclyde says the training will 'support Inverclyde's ambition to become a trauma informed and responsive local authority'.
The training will help people recognise when someone may be affected by trauma, and support them in adjusting the way they work to support their recovery.
The next session will run at Barnardo's Inverclyde Family Support Centre in Terrace Road, Greenock, on July 25.
