THE systems used by Inverclyde Council for managing and processing Inverclyde penalty charge notices and residents' parking permits is currently affected by global IT issues. 

It is an ongoing matter and there is no timescale as yet for when the issue will be resolved. 

The council said: "Further updates will be provided as soon as the problem has been fixed.  

"The issue should not impact on any PCN payment deadlines that fall during the system outage. 

"Any issues which remain unresolved after the system is back up and running should be reported via the Council's Customer Contact Centre."
