A NEWLY formed Inverclyde charity is accepting applications for a project lead position.

Compassionate Inverclyde is recruiting for a 18-hour per week post which is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for a period of two years.

Bosses are looking for a highly motivated and driven candidate.

Compassionate Inverclyde, which was launched by Ardgowan Hospice in 2017, recently formed its own independent charity.

The organisation is described as a ‘social movement based on kindness’ and was created with a vision of building a more compassionate and connected community.
