A CHARITY supporting families in Inverclyde are taking 250 parents and children on a summer trip.
Home Start Inverclyde is a lifeline to parent with young children offering offering one to one mentoring in their own home, peer group support and drop ins throughout the year.
They have built up a community of support for some of the most vulnerable families.
This year the families are all going to Blair Drummond Safari Park for a special day out.
The project is based in Hood Street in Greenock and has come to the aid of hundreds of local parents.
Home Start Inverclyde has a pool of volunteers who work closely with a family.
Any one who would like to find out more about the project can contact them on 603441or email hello@hsri.org.uk
